Built for Complexity

1685 Development Partners is a real estate development firm founded in 2025 to deliver complex real estate projects across a range of market types. The firm distinguishes itself through its ability to navigate demanding permitting processes, sophisticated design requirements, and challenging construction logistics.

From initial engagement with municipal planning authorities through final project delivery and sale, 1685 maintains an active, hands-on presence onsite, within surrounding communities, and among all project stakeholders. The firm's partners bring complementary expertise across development, finance, and execution, with a particular focus on preserving financial feasibility through disciplined design management and strategic procurement in a challenging economic climate.

Though recently formed, the firm is well capitalized and structured to successfully execute complex projects while meeting both community and investor objectives. 1685 is headquartered in Massachusetts on the north shore of Boston.
